Anti - Reflective Coatings
What we see is a result of light being sensed by our eyes. With normal lenses, much of the light reflects off the lenses, producing a glare and reducing visual acuity. To put it simple, light reflections cause visual and cosmetic problems. Normal lenses have a tendency to create bothersome glares, reflections, & "ghost images." We can correct all of those disturbances by eliminating them with an anti-reflective coating.
Anti-reflective coatings increase light transmission through the lenses to 99.5 percent. They make it easier for you to see and easier for others to see you. These coatings are especially useful when viewing computer screens and driving at night. The performance of anti-reflective lenses continues to improve with the arrival of the newest generation of ultra-premium anti-reflective coatings. They are highly advanced technology and some are even more scratch resistant than glass. Ask us about anti-reflective coatings during your next time in.
